Made in Canada: Cultural Connections in the Lives of China Adoptees
I am the mother of a daughter adopted from China in 2005. I wrote my Master of Journalism thesis on the outcome of a movement in the international adoption community to expose our children to their birth culture. This 161-page tome is largely based on interviews with coming-of-age adoptees from across Canada. It is a work of journalism, rather than a traditional academic thesis.
